I had previously increase the page file before I started this thread to 32G, but went in and increased it to 64G (I have 32 G RAM).

I put the original unlimited tree mod (that appears to have been updated since I started this map) in that it seems to be more updated, and it replaced almost all of my detailing with pine trees. I did notice that that uninstalling the unlimited tree mod wiped out almost all of my detailing. I did go in and remove a couple of not essential mods. I must be missing something though, I do not see the "uncheck all other workshop", so have not done that. I did try the subscribe all and enable all trick without results either. I then went in and unsubscribed to multiple assets that should not interfere and created more "breathing room" for the ram. I did try with "Load enabled assets" only and noticed the decrease in RAM on the loading mod, but no change in game play.

I do not think this is a driver or hardware problem. monitored with cupid and no overheating or voltage issues. I also ran the FUHR test for over 1 hour without any problem. I did re-load the driver directly from NVIDIA.

I do you drivermax to keep the drivers update, and am up to date with Windows. SO, still with problems and really no improvement. You may need to go triple the RAM size if windows is already set to auto page file. Windows auto-pagefile sets it to double the RAM at max, so it should be up to 64GB. If this cures the problem, then it is likely a pagefile issues.

This should free up several GB of RAM for you. Maybe, the first thing you should try, is going into loading screen mod and uncheck the, "Load enabled asstes" so it doesn't load any assets that aren't actually plopped in the city. If it still crashes, then unsub all disabled workshop. This will make sure all of your workshop in enabled the same and when saved, and more importantly, uncheck all other workshop. Then exit the game and load it back up and go back to content manager, savegames and now click the, "Enable All" button. Select the, "Subscribe All" button to make sure you have all workshop installed from when the game was last saved.

Try going to content manager from the game's main menu and selecting savegames and find your city. In fact you shouldn't have any launch flags set at all.

I only get those dx9/dx11 or 2d/3d errors from bad workshop entries. You definitely need to remove the forced d3d9 mode. That is way too long and sounds like it is running out of RAM. It said something like 2,100 seconds to load your city. You may need a bigger page file? You have a lot of workshop installed. I can't seem to force any of these different crashes. Just an old guy who likes to play the game, but rather frustrated.Ĭan you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it. checked the RAM, checked the heat of the CPU and video card. checked in the library and verified the files. I have "cleaned up" the computer, updated drivers and Windows endlessly. the computer crashes (different blue screen of death errors), the game freezes and I have to power off the computer, and I get the game just crashing and disappearing from the screen. Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.

I have checked them against the broken mod list and corrected them. disabling all of them actually made things worse in the current map I am using.
